Practical exchange between professionals and other enthusiastic locals, focusing on the artistic presence in rural territories in Europe.
The Grundtvig European programme foments continuous learning in the community, and this shared quest for learning has led 5 European centres – all set in rural areas, all with artistic and cultural production at the heart of their activity – to undertake a series of reciprocal visits.
The participating centres are: La Chambre d'Eau from Le Favril, Nord region, France; ZONE from Magione, Umbria, Italy; ET4U from Vemb, Jutland, Denmark; La Pommerie/Appelboom from Saint Sétiers, Limousin, France; and the Centre d'Art i Natura from Farrera, Pallars Sobirà, Catalonia.
During the coming year, a total of around 20 people connected with these different international organisations will visit their counterparts, driven by the desire to discover new realities and working methods. The Centre d'Art i Natura in Farrera will host the first of these meetings, putting the emphasis on the contribution that research can make to development in conjunction with artistic creation.
